Tiny Beginning Ballers

A perfect opportunity for your child to learn the FUNdamentals of tennis. We use low compression balls and small court sizes. Activities focus on building agility, balance and coordination skills (The ABC’s), while developing the on-court skills needed to serve, rally, and score. Prior to moving to the next stage of our program, these players will be able to demonstrate understanding of basic technique and maintain that technique during rallies.

Beginning Ballers -  (Skill Level of those new or re-entering game of tennis)

This Program is designed as an intro to tennis. There is a high focus on fun on the tennis court and learning to move their bodies while growing motor skills, coordination, balance and agility via different drills and exercises. Players will develop rally skills using a proven progression that maximizes hitting time using slower and lighter balls and smaller court sizes that lead to confident play on a full size court. The goal is for everyone to develop confidence and learn basic skills to serve, rally, score, and understand doubles positioning and play all in a fun, friendly, active, and encouraging environment.

Intermediate Ballers – (Skill Level of those moving up from beginning ballers)

This program is designed for young players getting into the game. The focus of this class will be introducing the fundamentals of the game to include (ground strokes, volleys serves and over heads) through different drills, games, and plenty of repetition. We will also continue to work on coordination, movement, and fitness. Players will learn the importance of the rally and keeping balls in play as well as basic footwork patterns of movement. The goal for this class is to rally with a peer at a slow to medium pace.

Advanced Ballers – (Skill Level of those advanced from intermediate ballers)

This program is designed for the players that have developed fundamentals and working to grow toward mastery of fundamentals and play towards high school tennis team and USTA tournament. There is a high degree of live ball drills, cooperative drilling, and point play. Ballers will focus on the core tennis strokes in a fun, focused, high-energy environment and will improve their understanding of tennis as well as cultivate their love of the game.

Elite Ballers - (Skill Level of those playing USTA tournament)

This program is designed for the player with a solid fundamental foundation and interested in and ready to start competing in USTA tournaments. It is best suited for the players looking to grow their competitive advantage. There will a be a heavy emphasis on refining skills through mostly live ball drilling. We will focus on point play match situations and developing solid patterns for successful point play. Oh, and don’t forget the fitness! A big bonus for this class is the players will get chance to hit with invited Division I college players!
