West Winds Tennis Center is pleased to introduce Barrett Elkins as Tennis Director overseeing all tennis programs effective immediately. 

 

Barrett is currently the Head Men’s and Women’s Tennis coach at Mount St. Mary’s University. He has currently led both the men’s and the women’s teams to the highest conference finishes in recent history. He has led 4 different colleges and taken two to the NCAA Tournament. He has coached the highest ranked players at three different schools, including the No. 5 male and the No. 6 female nationally. Before moving to the college side of coaching, Barrett worked for years as a club professional running multiple programs for both juniors and adults. His experience ranges from adult team development and beginner level programs. Elkins was a top junior player in the Southeast and has won state and regional championships.
