Description
This program is designed for young players getting into the game. The focus of this class will be introducing the fundamentals of the game to include (ground strokes, volleys serves and over heads) through different drills, games, and plenty of repetition. We will also continue to work on coordination, movement, and fitness. Players will learn the importance of the rally and keeping balls in play as well as basic footwork patterns of movement. The goal for this class is to rally with a peer at a slow to medium pace.

1. Inclement weather: in the event of bad weather check with the website www.westwindstennis.com or call the center at 301-865-2701. 2. All requests for refunds must be made at least 10 business days prior to the start of the program. A 20% administrative fee will be charged per refund transaction. There are no refunds for missed sessions. Refunds due to medical reasons will need a physician's note. To avoid the administrative fee, a player may ask to keep credit on the player account. Requests for credits can only be made 5 or more business days prior to the program start date. There are no refunds of credits. 3. A minimum of 4 participants must be registered for a class to take place. 4. Each participant is allowed 1 make-up in one session. Make-up needs to be approved and completed within the current session. It is the participant’s responsibility to complete the make-up within the time frame.
